Hey
I recently noticed that my listings page https://www.savorflagler.com/find-rewards/ appears to be pulling from just my “search” page rather than my home page options. I took the options that you currently see under my “home page” widgets and moved them all to the “listings tops section” and that appears to make everything I want to show up correctly but it isn’t at the right width any longer.
Is there a setting that was changed that I am missing? I can no longer figure out how to make the plugin pull from the correct widget. I have attached some screenshots of my current settings so you can see what I am working with.
Thank you
TomApril 13, 2017 at 11:52 pm #373416Sorry, but I do not understand the problem.
Your Listings page has the correct map in the sidebar and that map will show the listings that are on the page, for example:
https://www.savorflagler.com/find-rewards/shopping/
https://www.savorflagler.com/find-rewards/food-beverage/
https://www.savorflagler.com/find-rewards/I am not sure what you are expecting to happen.
Thanks

The “listings” section is showing up properly but not in the proper place. It is showing up where the “wpgeodirectory homepage” should be. I have https://www.savorflagler.com/find-rewards/ set as the “wpgeodirectory homepage.” It should be showing
what I have under the various homepage widgets:
Home Top Section should be a map with the different markers
Home Content Section should be showing Search, Near Me and Category Section. All of the other sections seem to be working properly besides the “wpgeodirectory homepage.” In the first post I included some screen shots so you can see what I am talking about a little better. I guess my problem is that what I have set in the widgets to be shown is not what is actually being shown and I cannot figure out why because from what I can tell I have it all set up properly. For some reason the wpgeodirectory plugin is displaying the “listings” widget information in place of the homepage? I cannot figure out what is going on but ultimately it is not displaying what I am asking of the plugin where it is needed.
Sorry I know this is lengthly and I hope that I have described what the problem is a little better.
Thank you
April 14, 2017 at 3:31 am #373428Your website’s homepage is a WordPress page, so you should use the “location” page at GD > Permalinks > GD Homepage. See more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#home
Your GD Listings page should not be a WordPress page, it is auto-generated from the slugs of your custom posts.
Your GD start page is here: https://www.savorflagler.com/location/ which is using the GD Home template and therefore all the GD Home widgets.
I am guessing, you entered “find-rewards” at
GD > Permalinks > Listing url prefix
and that is why your https://www.savorflagler.com/find-rewards/ is your listings page.Post your WP admin details in a private reply if there is still something that needs reviewing.
Thanks.
