Hi,

I added some listings but the important ones on bottom and not so important ended up on top.

How can I select how I want the listings sorted? Thx.

go to geodirectory/design/detail

You can also add custom sort options if you have advances search active under Place Settings>Sort options.

I added DATE in custom Sorting Options and selected the fields as attached. I then went and change the published date of the listings but they still show how they were – no change.

Here’s my original shortcode and I removed the ‘list_sort=’ thinking that was it .. is there another setting that needs to change or anything else I need to do?

[gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” category=”212″ layout=”3″ post_number=”10″ character_count=”200″ list_sort=”high_az”]

I tried this:

[gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” category=”212″ layout=”3″ post_number=”10″ character_count=”200″]

I got it to work .. thanks! Had to correctly changed published dates and make sure there was no pre-defined list sort. RESOLVED.
