Listings w/title and date only shortcode?

    Is there a shortcode, or other convenient way to show some listings for a specific CPT/Category and show only the Title (and for events, the date)?

    I would like to show some upcoming events on my homepage, but I don’t want all of the listing details, basically just the title and the date.

    GD Listings is the most flexible shortcode for showing listings.
    When you use it you can wrap it in an ID and target CSS to hide items in that particular instance.

    With GDV2 you can use many third party plugins to call listings because of changes to how GDV2 custom fields work.
