    Hi

On my Details Pages I am using the ‘Listings’Widget in the sidebars.

If the widget does not have any Post Types that meet the criteria it has the following text ‘No listings were found matching your selection. Something missing? Why not add a listing?.’ with a url link to the Add Listing page. For example https://www.randomreview.info/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_restaurant

The problem that I am seeing is that, for example, I am viewing a ‘restaurant’ in the detail page. The listing widget in the sidebar is displaying ‘bars’ but the url (as above) will take you to the Add-Listing page to add a restaurant….. but we want to add a ‘bar’

For the ‘Listings’ widget is there a setting so the add-listing url matches the Post Type that it is trying to display? (Not the Post Type of the Detail Page)

    Best Regards
    Neil

Hi Neil, have you tried using the “Use current viewing post type?” option?
    Let us know. Thanks

    Hi Guust

If I tick that option all it does is use the current post type to display the Listings for the post type that the detail page is displaying. It seems to override the ‘Default Post type’ that you set in the Listings Widget.

What I want to do in the Listings widget is to display different Post Types from the Detail Page post type, which it does very well.

The problem is when the Listings widget does not find any of the required post types. But the url link will go to the add-listing page for the post type of the detail page, instead of going for the post type that the listings widget is displaying.

    Best Regards
