    Hi,
I’ve been trying for hours to figure out why my listing database won’t import. Can you help please? I attached my CSV file.

    I’m getting this error:

    Total 163 item(s) found.
163 / 163 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).
163 / 163 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type/invalid characters used in data.

Actually, please review this CSV file instead.

The file is not comma delimited, but tab delimited.
I guess you have all categories already created.

Try this file, i just changed to comma delimited and UTF-8.

Thank you for responding. I imported the revised file and here’s the error I received again — see screenshot … but getting closer! Any thoughts on what’s happening?

    Let’s try this screenshot that’s a smaller file size…

You are trying to import some listings into 2 post types at the same time, that is not possible.

For anything else I would need URL and WP admin details in a private reply.
I would start checking to make sure:
    * all post types exist and are correctly referenced
    * all categories exist and are properly referenced and match the requested post type
    * multilocations addon is active
    * remove unnecessary quotes in some of the post_titles, like ‘Al”s RV Park’ should be Al’s RV Park It seems that is copied from somewhere else and not from a UTF-8 file.

You saved it as a tab delimited again, make sure to check your save settings.
There are still titles with invalid quote marks.
I suggest you break the CSV files into chunks of 10 listings (and less if required) so you can work out what errors you are making.

Thank you so much for all the help. I finally got it to work because I figured out how to change my SAVE AS settings in OpenOffice. All was imported on this last round. Thank you again!
