    First congradulations on the new plugin, seems very promising.

    My question is how do we translate core plugin and addons? It looks like there are no .po files included.

    Hi Montrealer,

    We will include our own .po files with the next update most likely tomorrow or Monday. They are all already setup to be translated if you know how to work poedit you can scan the files manually yourself.

    Also core is 100% WPML compatible and most other are too.

    I´m already translating it with Codestyling Localization plugin.

    It generate the .po file into core plugin. After you need move to languages folder.

    If we have access to the english .po files then all is good, and yes I will use poedit.

    @amolin thanks for the info, I wasn’t sure if codestyling localization was working with the last versions of WordPress.

    I am new to localization, but have been able to generate a geodirclaim-en_AU.mo and geodirclaim-en_AU.po file, rather than changing things in the wp-content/plugins/geodir_claim_listing/language.php file.

    Is that the right approach?

    The question is where do I place these MO and PO files? In the wp-content/plugins/geodir_claim_listing/geodir-claim-languages folder I guess? So that is what I did, but my translations are not working …

    Any hints greatly appreciated.
