so, after a bit of persistance – i finally have a city and region – but now the postcode keeps dissapearing after its been entered. once the address is in – and i click on “set address on map” is it supposed to automatically pin a location to the map?? i reeeeallly hope that’s how this works? or – does the longitude and latitude need to be entered for every address>?? thanks

    Hi there.
You do not need to add lat and lng. If you fill in the address, it should find the correct spot, but you can finetune by dragging the marker to the correct position and then save.
See attachment for my Queensland only site.

If you post your WP admin details, I can have a look at your settings if you like.

As Guust said, you could only write the address and click on the “Set address on Map” button, the other details will be filled in automatically. If the place is not correct, you can drag your pin on the map.

@guust you forgot the attachment 😛

You could add on your menu bar the “location switcher”
so you can change location using a drop down and set the “everywhere” location, so you will see all the location (to do that, go to Geodirectory- Multilocation and enable “Show location switcher in menu
“, first create a Menu in Appareance/Menu and then assign this menu in Geodirectory going to Geodirectory-Design-Navigation).

-To disable the auto location function, just go in the plugin section and deactivate the GeoDirectory Share Location plugin.

I changed your MultiLocations settings to simplify your setup: one country only based on your default location, and allowed all regions within that country.

One suggestion I’d like to make is to amalgamate some CTPs.
    For example, you could have
    Local or visitor info (CTP)
    Categories: Eat-Drink // attractions // …
For each of these subcategories you then could have subcategories.

Same for Products. Make dealerships a category?

Merging CTPs in the future might not be that easy, if possible at all.
