/location not working

    Hi,

    I’m trying out geodirectory and have run into a problem.

    We want it to display in a subdirectory as thesite.com/directory

    I unchecked the design > home option, but the page now shows just a listing of posts in both languages.
    I also unchecked any parts other than the header on homepage setting

    Using: WPML, Yoast SEO, themezee theme

    http://petsrd.com/dev/location/

    in spanish it shows just the front page

    http://petsrd.com/dev/location/?lang=es

    Hello, try to run the GD tools.

    GD tools did the trick! Gracie!

    Now I have English named pages in the Spanish version, can I just rename them and add the proper English page too?

    This relates now to WPML 🙂

    Also, I work in English backend and the site default is Spanish.

    I have the pages (thanks to GD tools) and it’s working in Spanish, what I’m not clear about is if I have to translate all pages or only Location (I renamed it to Directory).

    I have added some places as a test in the backend, the issue is that translating them to English doesn’t work, copy or duplicate gives empty pages.

    It’s cumbersome 🙁 right now I’m considering we might have the directory only in Spanish.

    Hi,

    the duplicating issue was reported today by another user too and Stiofan will be looking into it 1st thing tomorrow, however working with WPMl is almost as much work as making another website.

    It’s a lot of work.

    p.s. you probably just need to go to GeoDirectory >> GD Tools and run the first tool to check and fix the GD pages.

    Thanks Paolo.

    We are only testing right now, I’m ok with one language only.

    Another alternative is a subdomain with a separate install to keep the number of plug in’s on a minimum, we’ll evaluate that option too.

    I’ll keep an eye on this thread.
