Thanks in advance for help on location and category filter:

Here is the shortcode we’re using on the location page template:
    [gd_listings post_type=”gd_place” sort_by=”az” title_tag=”h3″ layout=2 post_limit=”30″]

We noticed several days ago that our filter stopped working and we’re not sure if we’re missing something with the setup.

    1. From the home page top nav bar location selector, we choose a city, such as Ashland, and we get redirected to:
    https://thelocaldish.dbkdev.com/location/oregon/ashland/

    2. The map is zooming in on Ashland but the loop includes listings from all cities.

    3. If we click a category link on any of the listings on that location page, such as restaurants & cafes, we are redirected to a search page that displays only one listing (when in fact there are more than 6 in Ashland). https://thelocaldish.dbkdev.com/listing/category/restaurants-1/oregon/ashland/

    4. When we then click View All on the aforementioned listing/category page we get this:
https://thelocaldish.dbkdev.com/listing/category/restaurants-1/oregon/ashland/page/2/, but not all places are showing.

    5. When we first get to the location page and click the Search bar on the main location page we do get redirected to a Search results page that displays just the relevant places, but we don’t think that extra step should be required.

    Thanks for your assistance, team!!

1 and 2. GD Listings on the location page should ‘always’ include the location filter: add_location_filter=”1″ – otherwise it will not filter for the location.

3/4/5 It looks like you are using GD Listings on the Archive page template. You should definitely include GD Loop on that page as the main content.

Try fixing those issues and see if it doesn’t get you there. If it doesn’t get you there, please write back with WP Admin credentials if we need to check the settings.
