    Hello,

my site will be using a different language and I’m currently translating it over. I really am trying to avoid cyrillics in the urls. In some places (like post titles) I know i can’t but at least for main groups (like locations) i’d like to try. The problem is that both URLs and the headers are using the same fields. I thought that the slug field was suppose to be the friendly way of forcing urls components to be simple but it seems for locations they are tied to the location name (see slug.jpg) is there any way around it? And for posts urls it would be nice to use post id rather than title . I know it will not be great for google optimization but neight is cyrillic giberish. Any advise would be helpful

Sure. please see attached screen shots in the order.

so the site is in cyrillic . I’d like my headers to display cities and countries in cyrillic but the url in latin script. you have this option for countries but the city slug is greyed out and cannot be changed…

    Hi Olga,

The region & city slugs are auto created during location creation based on region & city name. If you want to change location slugs then you can do it via Import/Export location feature.
    – Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > Import/Export > Locations
    – Export CSV > change slugs > re-import
