    Hello Support

We’ve been running into this issue now for the past month and are finding difficult to resolve…

When we login to the backend of our site we can view locations eg.(mysite.com/location/south-africa)

But when logged out – the map loads the entire Africa continent regardless of any settings we change.
(We’ve also tried the GD Tools “Location Category Counts”)

How can we make use of the location slugs/urls when logged out?

If this is not the issue, could you kindly log in and check our settings just to make sure we are not doing anything wrong on our side? Login details to follow…

    hi,

when you see differences when logged in or logged out, it’s 99.9% a caching problem.

I cleared your GD Booster cache and now it appears to be working correctly.

Please confirm and let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo

Thanks, it does seem to be working now, but we seem to have another issue which i think might be related:

When logged out – we load a country page eg.(mysite.com/location/algeria),
and then load another country page thereafter eg.(mysite.com/location/south-africa),
the newly loaded page still loads the previously loaded country (mysite.com/location/algeria) yet the url loads as (mysite.com/location/south-africa)…

Thus we have the url as “south-africa”, but the map loads as “algeria”.

I think the problem is related to the missing location switcher, I asked to a developer to check and let us know.

    Thanks

As Paolo says, try adding the location switcher, this is what sets the location session.
If it still does not work after then please provide FTP info.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Is there any way around the location switcher?

We need you to verify if this fixes it or not, i can’t recreate your problem on my localhost or on our demo server, we need to figure out what is going on. If you provide FTP info i can check.
