    good afternoon

We ask for your help with a difficulty with the location-switcher plugin. When I select a location, take the following message:

    “Not Found
This is somewhat embarrassing, is not it?
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search? ”

At the time of review, the plugin is redirecting to the location but without prefix “comercios” that should have.

    Url that does not work:
    https://miurl.com/colombia/cundinamarca/viota/

    Url that works:
    https://miurl.com/comercios/colombia/cundinamarca/viota/

    I appreciate your help.

Do you have a location page? What is the URL for that? Seems the location URLs are missing the location slug.

Please include WP Admin and login URL in a private reply if we need to check the settings.

It is not possible to set the location page as the WP Front page. Please choose another page:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/#front

    Yes, thanks.
    This is working now.
    Thanks again.

I have one more question, how can I make the sortcode [gd_current_location_name] work, because checking the documentation I must activate the add slug of the location to the url in “GD> Permalinks”. but in Geodirectory V2 this option does not exist.
Try the wordpress permalinks settings, but do not allow saving the changes.

    I thank the help again

That is a V1 shortcode, and has been dropped from V2.

In V2, WP and GD permalinks are together in

    WordPress – Settings, Permalinks

I tried to take a look at your site but it is timing out. If we need to check the settings, write back and let us know when the site is back up again.

Your permalink settings look good to me.

You can use the GD > Location Description

That is widget or shortcode, and uses the information in

GD, Settings, Locations, Manage Locations – > Location Description

The error appears related to WP SEO plugin, try disabling that to see if it clears up.
