Login Redirection not working

Hi there,
I successfully used the following code to redirect my login page:

add_filter('geodir_login_url','change_geodir_login_url',10,3);
function change_geodir_login_url($login_url,$args,$gd_page_id){
//change the url to whatever you want.
$login_url = 'https://cabinrentalsonly.ca/login';
return $login_url;
}

I then noticed that you now have the ability to redirect the login page from “permalinks” setting page and so I removed the above code from my functions.php, adjusted the setting on the “permalinks page” to point to my custom login page “/login”. Now the system takes me to the old login page now matter what – even if I put the above code back into functions.php
