    I don’t think thats the problem.

    But the file path seems like using the absolute url in your website instead of relative url.

    Maybe you imported or migrated with full url.

    Last question on this topic (I hope):

    In order for the new featured image thumbnail (geodir_company_logo) to adopt all the css properties necessary, do I create new css/scss rules using the new class (potplus_company_logo)?

    Basically replacing 

    geodir-post-img

    with 

    potplus_company_logo

    ?

    I added that class just show you the difference in screenshot.

    But of course you can add css rules for that class and style your thumbnail.

    If you are not familiar with css, then you may have to hire a developer though.
