There are a couple of issues here.
1. When a logo is considered valid to display it replaces the featured image in all of the display formats (list, grid 1, grid 2.. etc). How can I stop this and put out the featured image instead? I saw and implemented a minor code change to stop the logo doing this in the bubble display. I assume I can do something similar for this display?2. Oddly, all of the properties shown on the screen capture are imported via WP allimport. The one showing the logo has been edited manually. I have an issue with the import where some mandatory fields are not being imported. When I add those, the logo field suddenly becomes visible – both as the logo field element and here as the featured image.
November 26, 2019 at 6:18 pm #518772Hi there,
Thanks for your post. We’ll need to check your Website backend and could you share your Website WP admin access here in private reply so that we could check on it?
November 27, 2019 at 9:48 am #518853Hi Kor
The website is on a laptop on my local LAN so isn’t visible to the internet. I’ll look to see if I can configure my firewall to allow you through. In the mean time is there any further information I can provide that might help?

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, we won’t be to help much if it’s on local. Maybe you can upload it to a staging URL so that we could check on it?
Thanks!
November 27, 2019 at 2:56 pm #518888Hi Kor.
I solved the logo problem by altering the “GD Archive Item” page definition and deleting the gd_post_images show_logo parameter. It’s still a mystery why the logo only shows when all mandated fields are present.
I’ll see what I can do to get you access to the site.

To change the behavior of the GD Post Images element, you should open up the shortcode builder.
Inside the shortcode builder, choose the GD Post Images element and make sure to click the blue button to see all the options.
For your case you will want to disable the fallback images for logo, perhaps writing in the default category image instead.
Further, disable the soon to be deprecated show logo option.
You will then need to replace the GD Post Images element in your Archive item template with the one you have just created.
