    Hi there.

    I am currently running a GD-site at http://www.openmindtrips.com. I wish to have implemented my customized design on my homepage only, and I need it to run well with GD.

    Anyone up for it? Please send me a message, and I will fill you in on all the details.

    Create a new WP page for your homepage, then
    GD > design > home > Geodirectory home page > UNTICK
    Settings > reading > Front page > static page > choose the homepage you created

    Anything else you need?

    Yes, I need to use some of the GD widgets in the homepage design. Would you recommend this to be done by e.g. using widget-shortcodes?

    Just add the GD widgets like you would anywhere else on an Avada page.
    Some will not work though, only the ones that do not rely on a filter by location or category will work.
    Just try one by one and see how you go.
