Managing Invoices Fatal Error

When a user tries to view their invoice history they receive an error message;

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: [] operator not supported for strings […] /wp-content/plugins/geodir_payment_manager/geodir_payment_template_functions.php on line 1966

What should I do to fix this?

We are running WordPress version 4.8
