Manual Invoicing Payment Fails …

    We recently tried to manually create an invoice from the WP backend and sent it to the client. Client received the email fine and found a link to pay. So they click on that link and reaches the payment screen. All the info is filled out perfectly but when the ‘Proceed to PayPal’ button is clicked, they get stuck with the following error:

    Error: The invalid invoice user id

    what does this mean? I’m including the necessary screenshots and the backend access … plz let us know how to resolve this.

    You need to make sure PayPal is active, and turn off the sandbox testing. Unless you have a special SandBox account, that setting does not work.

    Ok, we are logged in as the user account that the invoice was sent to and we are still getting the ‘Invalid invoice user id’ …
    here is a video of that:

    Ok, I looked into that and that’s a lot of 3rd party code change that we’re not comfortable with. We’ve provided FTP and Admin access to our site above, could you plz help with the code update and let us know? Plz, let us know if you need any other access info. We’d appreciate this very much … Thanx again.

    WPinvoicing is our plugin so there is no third party code involved.

    Hi,

    There is an Invoicing plugin update on your site so can I update the plugin and then make the changes regarding invalid user ID?

    You absolutely can … the only thing we are not ready to update at this point is the main GEO plugin, cuz that may have some breaking changes which we are not ready for just yet. But other than that we are good. Thanx again for all your help.
