I would love some advice from any GeoDirectory V2 users out there – I am having trouble getting the map feature to reset to a different location – it keeps showing NYC when I’d like it to be a default location in Australia.

I’m also having issues with the search function – it is not intuitive at all and is showing up with the incorrect places listed as the closest when they are clearly not the closest.

How do I even begin to fix these issues? I’m finding this plugin really difficult to get used to 🙁

    Hi rgrace,

Thanks for your post. You can refer to this section of the documentation that explains how to configure the default location https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/#default-location . I hope it helps.

With the free plugin you can create a directory for a single city.
However, you have locations that are outside of the default location.

To manage those locations in the site you will need the Location Manager Addon

    Hi rgrace,

Thanks for your reply. I don’t see any issues when I try to add a new listing. But when I edit the listings, the longitude and Latitude is missing. Could you try updating the existing listings longitude and Latitude manually and see if it helps?
