    Hello –

    How does GeoDirectory determine what to show in the home page map?
    Currently on my site it just shows a seemingly random part of town.
    Is there a way to tell it where to center the map?

    And how do I control the styling of the menu on the right? Can I turn it on and off?

    It centers the map on the listings asked to be displayed.
    Untick a few categories and you will see it re-centers on whatever listings that you are asking for.

    Hi James,

    Try adjusting the map zoom level and see if it looks better. About the category list on the right, you can use the custom CSS code below to remove it. Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS

    div#geodir_map_v3_home_map_2_cat {display:none!important;}
