    Hi

    My map icons are actually there in file directory and showing up on Category page of GD Places on backend. But on GD map on front end, the img elements have src=”https://maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/transparent.png” instead of url to my categories map icon.

    <img style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px; -moz-user-select: none; border: 0px none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px; max-width: none;" alt="" src="https://maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/transparent.png" draggable="false">

    I found that i can fix it if i:
    go to each category one by one,
    copy the file name of existing icon,
    select “upload” map icon,
    paste the icons name and find the icon from media library,
    select it and update the category.

    After doing this the icon appears on GD map, but i have many categories and it will take much time.

    So, my question is if maybe this is already known problem to You guys and there is some quick way to fix this without having to update all icons one by one? Some mysql update query for example?

    Thanks

    You always will need to connect your map icons in the category settings by uploading them to media and then selecting them.
    Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can check this out.

    Thanks
