Hello,
as you can see in the attachment the legend of my map is having light background and with the text of the categories in white one can not actually use the legend and it does not look very well.

How I can resolve this, is it part of the plug-in or its part of my theme settings?

That’s must be part of your theme, try adding this to your CSS:
```
.map_category ul.treeview {
    background-color: transparent;
    list-style-type: none;
}
```
