    Hi,

did you set your permalinks to something different than default? Possibly postname.

If your permalinks aren’t the problem, please provide a URL and admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Let us know,

Paolo, same problem; I just updated all the plugins last night, and now all my listing URLs look like this:

    http://www.kjvchurches/united-states/west-virginia/williamson.com/churches/grace-baptist-temple-10/

The “.com” is transposed to the City section, and the Category is being moved to after the City section. This is bad, all my listings are returning 404s.

    Hi,

Not only the .com is moved in your URL and the cpt name is missing before the country name in the URL too.

However I can’t recreate this on any of our test website, please provide admin credentials and we will have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    This is really strange.

I see thousands of redirect rules on your .htaccess file created by redirection plugin.

What are you using this plugin for?

Could you please provide FTP credentials, I want to try to rename the htaccess file and test with a new one to see if the problem persist.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

I took care of the .htaccess file.

I like to make sure that I don’t have a ton of 404s, so that’s why I keep that plugin around. It’s been pretty useful to keep track of bad URLs and missing pages. With ~6,500 listings, it’s easy to get snowed under with bad links.

Actually, Redirection doesn’t edit the .htaccess file itself. I deactivated it, as well as these plugins:

    WP-User Online
    Stream
    Redirection
    MyWebSQL
    IFY GD Dashboard
    Google Pagespeed
    Easy Filter
    Akismet

Plus I disabled GD Booster. Something’s weird with the permalinks still. I tried changing the Permalinks setting to something else and then back, but no dice.

Please provide FTP in case he needs it, I’ve seen a plugin to manage DB installed, so that should be enough.

    Thanks

    @mc1171611 and @paolo

Looks like this bug is appearing only when “Add location slug in listing urls” option checked. So you can disable that option temporarily until we fix the bug.

    Option available here

GeoDirectory > Permalinks > Add location in urls > Add location slug in listing urls

I’m unable to replicate that bug in my local server. So I need your ftp credentials to debug it.

    Thanks

    @mc1171611

I noticed the following text on your site.

We’re experiencing issues with our software, so you may not be able to find what you’re looking for. We’ll have the site back up and running ASAP!

So I have disabled “Add location slug in listing urls” which I mentioned earlier. I hope thats not a problem.

FTP details do not provide write permissions so are no use, please provide details with write access or change the user to have write access, OR you can simply replace this file in your core and save your GD>premalinks page to include locations urls
    https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/master/geodirectory-functions/taxonomy_functions.php

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
