I’ve successfully imported my CSV and the places have been created. But none of the maps automatically show the location of these places.

When I manually edit these entries the forms automatically use the longitude and latitude that was included in the original CSV and show the correct location on the map. When updated the place correctly displays the location all the maps.

Having to manually update all the places I import before the geo-data is populated is a bit impractical.

Is there anything I can do to force this?

    🙂

ok the reason is that you do not have set at least a category.
In your CSV, post_category and post_tags are missing (post_tags is optional, you can leave it blank) but at least a category is mandatory

Both of those fields are on the CSV I attached above.

I think what might of happened is I deleted the category I specified (while trying to test something else) and only remembered to re-create it after I had done the import.

I’ve re-imported the CSV above and all the maps are working this time.

    Thanks, thats fixed!
