I own bitListing.com and I notice that after more than 1935 listings the map breaks!!

the map only supports 1935 listings. Even more listing breaks the map

    Hi,

That is non sense, most websites in our showcase section have more listings than that and we have few members with millions of listings in their directory.

Most probably you are having problems with a wrong characters in listing title or a conflict with another plugin.

If you provide a link and admin credentials we’ll have a look and help you fix it.

    Thanks

looks like Marker Cluster was causing the map to break after upgrade. i deleted marker cluster and map works

it seems as though MarkerCluster plugin was breaking the map if I upgraded to newer wpgeodirectory or if I had more than 1935 listings. Strange. I deleted it and it works. Actually markercluster never worked anyway

there is a lot of work to be done on this plugin and WPGEODIRECTORY in general to make it more robust/resilient. It shouldn’t break just because of a plugin.

    Hi Mike,

Stop being so dramatic, if nothing ever went wrong there would be no need for doctors, mechanics and developers, most problems are caused by users. We are here to help you, if marker cluster “never worked” and you were having problems with markers then you should let us know and we will find the problem and fix it.

Please provide wp-admin and FTP in a private reply (only staff can see) and i will check what the problem is.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
