Map Problem

    Hello dear Support Team,

    I use GD V2 with currently only a few CPTs.
    At the moment I’m testing the map and encountered some problems. Of course I have read the documentation before my inquiry thoroughly and searched also in the forum.

    Task:
    Now I want to display the corresponding overview map with clusters in the corresponding sidebars. Included should be all categories and one or more categories should be preselected in the tick. Therefore I created my own sidebar and map widget with 3 categories to test CPT health.

    The map display works with limitations and I can’t find a solution even after a long time of trying. Maybe you can help me.

    What still irritates me is that the German map in the sidebar shows the CPT health although the map is set to auto for map type.

    The English shows first CPT Videos without categories.

    When I choose an archive map and then choose cpt and categories what i want to do in the sidebar for all gd health pages i create i get an empty map which seems to load infinitely. Does archive only work with gd_loop?

    1. The location page map should be set to directory. “Auto” is not currently working. I will ask the devleopers to look into it.

    2. 3. This usually means there is an error/incomplete data in whichever categories will not load. Try exporting the listings and sorting by that category to see if the error is visible.

    4. Archive does work only with loop, yes.

    1 is solved – it works with setting directory
    so 4 is solved as well, because no need of that anymore.

    Ok I will export the 800 entries of the health category with the category snippet.

    Do you have any idea what I could be looking for with the 800 entries? If there are incomplete columns I can easily check. But what mistakes should I look for?
    Can it also be faulty html code in the description? The detail entries are ok and work.

    Missing category is #1, or empty category, or missing city/state/lat/lon. Visually it is easy to detect those with an export which is why I recommend that method.

    Broken code can make a difference but it is far less likely.

    Yes its would have been easy to detect with an exported file. But nothing is missing in that rows.

    When I delete an partially import to find out which entry causes the problem, will the slug and url after reimport be the same? Especially the pharmacies a nice listed at google.

    Or do u have another idea to fix that?

    I took another look and it actually looks like a JS error caused by advanced ads. Try disabling that and see if the issue is resolved.

    You solved it. With your tips before.
    Disabling the advanced ads plug in did not have any effect.

    But in the meanwhile i disabled 100 by 100 entries with the expiration date and reimportet it to find out where the bad entries are. Step by step I was able to find out the two faulty entries. I couldn’t find any errors in the entries themselves. I switched them off first.

    The cpt health location site works now – i did only for German by now.

    I ve another lil question but will open a new topic – think u prefere that.
