    Hello,
if I set a place on my Search Form, why Maps don’t close up around that place?
See here results (I wrote Milan):
    https://www.considerovalore.it/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=Milan&sgeodir_prodotti%5B%5D=&sgeodir_tipo_azienda%5B%5D=&sgeo_lat=45.4642035&sgeo_lon=9.189982

    Best,
    Antonella

You have set your search radius to more than 200km, so it will include all listings in the circle with that radius around the center of Milan.

If you only want listings “IN” Milan, then change this setting:
GD > Settings > Location Manager > Locations tab >
    Enable location search autocompleter?

    Thanks

    Hello Guust,
    thank you for your reply.
If set the limit to 15km, for example, results will be within that radius and it’s ok.
Instead, I would like to set that limit only for the zoom of the map. Is it possible?

    Thanks
    Antonella

You can set a fixed zoom instead of auto zoom but that will not work for other maps, for example the next set of results will be shown outside the map with a fixed zoom.

Search radius is for the search NEAR a location or address or landmark, for maps and results.

    Thank you Guust.
Where I can find this ‘Search radius’ setting?

GD > Settings > General tab > Search > Search near radius

    Thanks

Ah ok, I have already set it. This is for maps and results.

So when you say: “You can set a fixed zoom instead of auto zoom”, where do you mean? Or is it the same setting?

    Thank you

Add “zoom=5” to the map on the search page, but it is not recommended.
    Thanks
