Hi Guust,
Thanks for looking into those issues for me, you been helping tremendously. I took your advice and studied the customisations. Thanks for sharing the tutorial !
Another issue we have is the email stop working all of sudden. We used to receive emails when someone registers but now, the registration emails do not come through. I installed the email log as recommended by Alex but to no avail… it does not send any email to new user…

March 21, 2018 at 3:54 pm #422576When you say “it doesn’t send email” to the new user, do you mean that when you make a new user registration through the front end, that there is no email sent at all, and that nothing shows up n the log?

yes, there is nothing in the email log when someone signs up. And also the new user does not receive any email, nor the administrator receiving the notification..
what i did:
1. sign up an account
2. go to the email log to see if it captures the new user registration email
3. go to the mailbox of administrator to check if any email come through
4. go to the mailbox of new user to check if any email come throughBut the email notification for the listings are working. When i add new listing, i receive email notification on the new listing being added.

sorry correction here:

when i add a listing:
1. it does not send email notification to the author
2. it BCC the email notification to the adminadmin always receives the email notification whenever a listing is added.
however the author who adds the listing, does not receive any email notification at all.thanks again for your help Alex!

The site is using Buddyrpress for registration, and looking at those settings is the best bet.
There are normally issues with using an email address not of the same domain.
Creating a new user from WP side sends email that shows in the log, but it doesn’t get to me, which says the host is intercepting it.
GD is still sending emails, unlike Buddypress.

Yes, the website is getting slow, we are open to any suggestions, please recommend any upgrade plan that is available, thanks.
What i did to try to fix this email issue:
1. created [email protected] in the email hosting.
2. added the [email protected] to functions.phpnone of these seem to work…
Even when listings are submitted, email notifications are not being sent…

sorry if I wasn’t clear. GD is sending the emails.
Now that you have added a domain email address, contact your host and ask them why they are blocking the emails from the site.
