map zoom

    hi is there a way to change the standard zoom

    when people open my site the map zoom is on automated
    but it will leave like 3cm (1.5inch) free space on the top and the bottom

    any idea how to change that?

    Hi there,

    You can adjust the map zoom level using these settings in the “GD > GMap > Home Page” Wdget as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/cq07po .

    yes i know but i was wondering if there is a way to make it automated
    for now its ok as im only putting locations in the netherlands
    but later i want more countries
    and then i need to change main location everytime i add a new country

    that why i need it automated 😛

    yes but when i put it on auto it will give about 3cm space on the location map
    i want it to zoom more

    however when i put it on zoom 7 it works good ont the main map of the netherlands
    but it will show the same map on all cities
    so it wil show the whole country instead of the city

    what i need is that the automated zoom will zoom a litle bit more

    you can see the difrence in the attachments

    the one with the spacings is the automated one

    I’m sorry but that is not possible, the zoom calc is made automatically when autozoom is on.

    nothing is not posible
    there is always a way
    i just need to know where the coding is regarding the automated zoom

    Hi Sylvester,

    This require custom changes in core JS file from which the map is rendered.

    You can find code in yoursite/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/map-functions/js/map.min.js which is minified file of yoursite/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/map-functions/js/map.js .
