Map zoom

    I seem to have an issue with the map zoom. When I click the near me button, the map locates me but still shows all of Australia. If I click the near me button a second time, it will then zoom in.

    I have set the Home page map widget to zoom.

    The result is the same in Safari, Chrome and in the iPhone browser.

    I can see plenty of people have issues with zoom but not quite the same so I couldn’t figure out a fix from the forum.

    The site has the Map Search page set for the GD Home and Location pages.

    That will not work. Each of those must be a different page.

    After you create a new page, make sure to resave the WP Permalinks settings.

    Also, the GD Home widget areas do not have any listings widgets. Try adding a popular post widget there.

    Ok, I have let the page I call “Browse Map” stay as the GD Location page and I have set my actual home page as Home in the GD permalinks and re-saved (same as WP readings homepage). Is this the right way to do it?

    The issue of the map zoom appears to be the same but it is a bit hard to tell as I have to empty the cache but Chrome seems to still locate me but not zoom. Zoom is on 13. The second click on near me will still zoom in.

    I have placed a listing slider and 2x popular post view in the Home bottom section – which are now showing up on my home page as it is set in the GD permalinks to “Home”.

    Hello Lise,

    There is an issue with location me & map cache enabled. We have fixed it and it will be in next release.

    Ok, thanks. I will wait for the update then. Have just disabled the map cache and all is good for now.
