I’m not sure if this is a bug, and I’m not sure if it’s to do with the core or the multi-location plugin, but I notice that if a particular category has only a single listing, that the map does not AUTO ZOOM to include just the listings, but zooms out completely to show the whole earth several times.
I have a map on my new page where you can see this in spectacular action. I’ve got the zoom set to auto, and all that, it works great with all the categories where there are at least 2 entries in that category: for example see attachment: aryuveda – where the map performs wonderfully and zooms to include all three entries
but for categories where there is only 1 entry: eg: Chair Yoga: see attachment
This site isn’t quite ready for human consumption, but happy to share access passwords in private if you need to check it out.
It does the same thing for the events plugin by the way. this isn’t a HUGE issue for us, as we’ll just make sure that each category has at least 2 things in it. but it should probably be sorted.
