Good evening, I have a problem, I can’t see any page on the site.
    I have a clean wordpress 5.2.1 installation
1 I installed the starter theme
2 I installed the supreme theme
    3 I installed the geodirectory 2.0 plugin …
4 I followed the wizard by installing the default sample data and the default menu always from the wizard.
For the google maps api key I entered it correctly, only that I didn’t do the billing because I don’t have a bank account or a credit card. (so I know I can’t use it).
I tried to see if the site works but I only see a white screen on all the menu pages, only the home works.
Your plugin doesn’t work because the map doesn’t work ??
Or should it work anyway ??
can I disable maps? or does the pligin need mandatory maps?
I did a test and I also disabled the maps from the geodirectory settings but the site still doesn’t work, I always see the pages that don’t load anything, white screen.
I checked the “status” of geodirectory and the only exclamation points with black circle are: the first is 5.1.73 – We recommend a minimum MySQL version of 5.6, and the second is: Your server does not have the SoapClient class enabled .
can it depend on these last two things?
I have listed all the possible info I believe, can you kindly help me?
I would like to buy your software with all the addons but I have to understand first what the problem is, otherwise I can’t throw away the money.

At GD > Settings > Show Advanced > Maps API, select OpenStreetMaps.
Did you set a default location at GD > Settings > Default location?
You definitely need a better server environment: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
The SoapClient will only be required when you install the Payment Manager addon and the Invoicing plugin.
You can use the software without maps, but you still need addresses, so one Map API will need to be used.

    Thanks

hello Good evening, I installed everything regularly and asked my provider to update both the database to version 5.6 and php to version 7.3.
the plugin still does not let me display the pages.
I would like to ask you a question: but does the plugin have to have an HTTPS connection to work?
or does simple HTTP work the same?

Http should work ok, but https will have more options.
The issue you describe is not related to that.
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we’ll have a look at your settings if you like

    Thanks

I can’t find the problem. Maybe because it is a Microsoft server.
Ill get a developer to have a closer look.

    Hello,

Setting the template pages to use a different page template seems to fix it, however i would be very interested to find out what exactly is going on, if you can provide FTP details in a private reply i will take a look.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I will let you know as soon as possible.

hi stiofan, Good morning, I inform you that I have changed my server environment from windows to linux.
I reinstalled wordpress geodirectory and start and supreme themes and it all works.
therefore the plugin has difficulty to be installed in windows environment with the simple standard installation.
