HI there, build GD using a CPT for companies which is based on google maps, however and looking to a CPT for ‘platforms’ (oil and gas platforms, sitting out located in the middle of the ocean. However, unsure if GD maps can cater for this. I have the co-ordinates (longitude / latitude) for platforms, but i have tried to add a post, however it always asks me for a street / city etc.

    1. Do you know how this could be done?
    2. If not, can you integrate ArcGIS maps into GD?

The location manager options for the add location page has an option to ‘Disable move map pin from changing address fields’
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/location-manager/

If you use that, you can enter any address you want that is part of a real country and then drag the map marker and it won’t change the address. This setting is usually for directories with listings in places that Google or OSM don’t cover like a rural area but could be used in your case, too.

However, this setting is global, so, it will disable the map pin update function for all CPTs.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
