In firefox this does not stop loading and it will not the rest of the js load so my sticky header and some other stuff doesn’t load correctly.

I found this thread on stackoverflow:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14233350/infinite-load-on-firefox-transferring-data-from-maps-googleapis-com

This on the Firefox v 30.0 and I didn’t notice it until a few days ago, maybe with a recent release but I cannot be sure about that.

I cannot find a map on any of your pages, in any browser. And the site does not hang for me. I can see some Ad plugins that is on some pages for logged in users and not others which seem to trip things up.
I’ll ask Paolo to have a look; you might have to give him details of an administrator account so he can check your settings.

Hang on, I was using the “Use Google Libraries” plugin and I just deactivated it and the problem went away. I’ll report the problem to the plugin author.

Tested on mac firefox and chrome and PC chrome and frefox and could not replicate. sometimes i do get this not very often but sometime when my internet is playing up and anything from google seems to take forever or break.

This could also be due to a firefox extension you have installed.
