    Hi,

can I suggest that another GD forum be set up: Members Mutual-Support, where paid-up GD members can request and offer support for issues that are not dealt with by usual GD support; things that might require customization but which would benefit all GD members by, for instance, coming up with bits of CSS or php snippets that add useful options or valuable functions. There is a lot of expertise in this community and I believe it would add value for all, especially non-profit (like myself) or low-budget (also like myself!) projects that just don’t have the budget to pay a developer for customization. WordPress is a very sharing community, and we might all benefit from taking up the slack when the GD techies do not have the time to focus on something.

    What do people think?

TBH 100% I don’t think it would work. See the jobs section, there are no replies, even though it’s obvious that whoever posted in there is willing to pay.

Most users here follow exclusively their topics and don’t even read sticky announcements… 🙁

In any case, feel free to use the General Discussion forum for it, if we see that it takes off, we’ll create the dedicated Forum section.

    Thanks
