    Hi

    I am creating a restaurants directory, and interested in having a Menu List

    is there a way to have a custom type with the list of dishes for each menu from the restaurants?

    You could make a CPT for ‘dishes’ and link them to the Place.
    You could also add a field for the restaurant to share their menu as a file which seems easier.

    Thanks Alex.. I will have to go with the CTP for the dishes.. many thanks.. as my site service also include providing recipes..

    Can you tell me where I can get the details on setting up CTP,

    Hi again,
    You would create the CPT for Menus, then add a field to that CPT “Link to Restaurants”
    Then visit the Restaurants CPT -> Tabs (tab) and add a shortcode for “GD Linked Posts” for the Menus.
    Not sure what you mean about the id and image, but, you can adjust all the fields for the menu and then setup a new archive item that shows only the information you want.
