    Hi,
I recently launched a site with GDv2 but we have a couple listings that were created/purchased before dns propagated. Whats the best way to bring these listings from the old site to the new site including invoice and subscription data?

I’ve seen the import/export instructions but not clear on invoicing/recurring-subscription. As in keeping their subscription active.

    thanks

You can have them sign up again, after cancelling their subscription with the gateway.

Our official instructions for upgrading are here and recommend upgrading a site in-situ, as it is not possible to export and import all the information about a site.

Yea, but those instructions don’t consider my situation. It was not possible to complete the upgrade in one sitting.

I don’t think requiring the customer to re-submit is a good look.

What do you think about importing the remaining listings and listing owners, cancel their existing subscription at the merchant, but assigning their listing to a package that isn’t recurring so that they get the expiration emails, at which point they can’t renew using the recurring packages?

Yes, recreating their listing with the appropriate expire date on a comparable non-recurring package is a good fit.

You can leave their subscription running, too, if you want, but, then, they may cancel and the listing wouldn’t be downgraded.
