How do I fix the missing add
places menu in the admin section? This happens when I import the
site’s database via phpmyadmin? I tried using the tool in GD tools
section and it didn’t work. I also tried deactivating all the plugins
(with the core GD last) and deactivating them. I also tried uploading
    a new copy of GD.

How do I export and import the users, categories and listings (both
places and events) ? This is my second option if I can’t find a fix
for the missing places menu in the admin.

I want to continue using GD, but this is really a huge inconvenience.

    Hi,

you mentioned importing the database via phpmyadmin. From your description, it appears that some tables are missing.

What version of GD was installed in the development website? If it is an old version, you should 1st update it, run the GD Tool to covert the db for multisite, than export and re-import In the live website.

Which tool are you using to find and replace the url before importing into the live website?

Answering these questions should help us understand what went wrong.

    Let us know,

    Thx
