Missing option-values from Multiselect

    I have a multiselect-box with option-values: Deutsch/german,Englisch/english,Spanisch/spanish

    If a users chooses one text-element (ex.: Deutsch) from the multiselect-box, the related option-value (german) is submitted well as expected.
    If the user now chooses more than one text-elements (ex. Deutsch and Spanisch), no option values are submitted. Now just the text-elements itself (Deutsch and Spanisch) are transfered. I would expect the values german and spanish.
    Am i wrong? How can i get the selected option-values?
