We are getting mixed content errors where Http images are being displayed on https pages.
    For example plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/images/stars.png and plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/map-functions/icons/pin.png
By the look of it they are all coded to force http and there appears to be no way of changing this also changing the file still forces http.
this should surely be a relative url?

I am guessing you changed to HTTPS recently.
Use the Better Search Replace plugin to update your site’s URL accross the database.

    Thanks

    thanks for the reply.

That would be one way of fixing it, however, what if we don’t necessarily want all pages to be served by https? surely if these were written as a relative URL’s as opposed to absolute URL’s in the code they would always be correct? or is there a reason for them being absolute?

    thanks

    Tony

A WP site should be HTTPS or not. WP works with absolute URLs only by default, for all themes and plugins.

    Thanks

They were made absolute for another feature that we never added, we will change this in future.

    Thanks,
