I moved my wordpress from a subdomain to the root of the website.
    ie. from listings.MyDomain.com to MyDomain.com

Everything seems to be working ok except all the icons are not found.
    Uploaded listing images display fine.
Somewhere in the database is a reference to listings.MyDomain.com and I can;t seem to find it.

All the permalinks I checked are good.
I’m comfortable editing the database directly if that’s what it takes.

See the attached image. No pins on the map either.

    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Domenic

Checking the tables and found in table: wp_posts the guid field that is pointing to listings.MyDOmain.com.

I’m assuming that if I update those records to MyDomain.com that the problem should be resolved.

Please confirm and/or let me know if there’s any other place I should belooking as well.

    Hi,

yes when moving WordPress from a domain to another (or sub to root), you need to find and replace all url instances in your db with a tool like this that will preserve serialized strings: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

Changes must be done if geodir db tables too.

Let us know if that helped.

    Thanks

I manually updated each category and it seems to be working.
I have another problem, for many of the existing listings, they are not showing up on the map.
When I edit the listing, enter the address, click Show on Map, the progress bar moves but nothing appears on the map while editing the listing.

When the listing is displayed, the icon is on the map on the right nav and on the map under the Map tab and on the big map.

This may be related to the missing icon issue or not.

I did install Yoast SEO. At on point in the GD screens, I saw a message in red text say something like, install WPSEO.

I deactivated Yoast to see if it made any difference. Still have the issue.

    Please advise. Thanks,
    Domenic
