Multi-ratings – collapse individual rating stars

    I have also recently updated to V2 and have the Multi-ratings Add on.

    In V1 I seem to remember that when the reviews were displayed on the detail page that it only displayed the overall rating, and then there was a button which the user could click which would then display the individual ratings for the review. Where is this option in V2, is there a special shortcode or code that can be used in V2.

    Or when with this feature be put into V2?

    Thank you for responding.

    I have checked all the settings and there is nothing that seems to collapse the individual ratings. I’m currently using version 2.0.0.10 of the GeoDirectory Review Rating Manager.

    Are you sure that this can be done in GeoDirectory V2 currently?

    Can you share a link to a V1 page where we could see the feature? I have no clear recollection of that feature and it does not sound like a current V2 feature.

    Hi Alex

    I do not have access to a V1 site anymore, but I found this video on V1 multi-rating, and if you go to the end of the video you will see the individual ratings are hidden until the ‘More’ button is clicked

    Hi Neil Hall,

    Thanks for your reply. I get what you mean now. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option in GDv2 that allows you to achieve that. I’ll forward this to a developer and see if they are planning to add this feature back.

    For the developer – Is there a way to hide the “Overall Rating” and display it using a link.

    We decided to show the rating all the time, we have no current plans to add it back to hidden.

    That to me seems to be big step backwards. Showing a lot of individual ratings stars on a lot of reviews will really look messy on the detail page.

    Obviously it was something that was previously done in version 1. Is there a fix available that could set it back as it was in version 1?
