Hi,
I am using WPML to create a multilingual (EN/FR) GeoDirectory.

I understand how to translate the whole website (by setting the language and adding mo files). However, when it comes to switching between languages, I can’t make it work.

a) How do I get an French “Add listing” page ?

b) This happens with every addon, but let’s take one example. I have added a FR file for the advanced search addon (geodiradvancesearch-fr_FR.mo). I have put it in the required folder (/wp-content/languages/geodiradvancesearch).

When I go to French using the language switcher, I still see english words on the page.

Please help ?

Hi YA,

sorry for the delay in replying.

I did some testing and I got lost too. I wasn’t able to have the add listing page translated and submitting the listing in the selected language.

However it is something I’m sure it’s possible to do.

I’ll ask to Stiofan to shed some light.

Hi YA,

It seems something has changed with WPML and this seems to be causing problems, this can be considered a bug at present and we are working on a fix, we are very close and it should be in the next release (hopefully Tuesday)
