Multiple categories for Places

    Hello,

    I am trying to assign multiple categories to a place. In the description of the dropdown where I select the categories, it says to select AT LEAST one category. For some reason, I can only select one.

    Hoping you can help me achieve this, as some places can definitely fall under multiple categories.

    I expect you have create a price package that only allows one category.

    If we need to check your settings, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Hello Guust,

    I haven’t created any price packages yet. I’m guessing this should be doable even on a free listings website?

    I’ve also added WooCommerce and the Pricing Manager (we were hoping on starting for free and then adding the pricing, but I went ahead and started the setup).

    I added 3 plans, and edited one of the listings to make it part of the biggest plan which allows unlimited categories.

    I still can only select 1 category in the EDIT LISTING page, using the dropdown.

    I’m on V2 btw…

    Hi guys,

    This is resolved by going into the PLACeS / SETTINGS / looking at the Categories field, then advanced settings, then there is an option at the bottom for CATEGORY DISPLAY TYPE. I selected MULTI SELECT and everything is looking good!

    This issue is resolved.
