My website sent me spam with username olniffer@gmailcom

    Hi Support

    I’m newbie in wordpress and geodirectory, please forgive me if I’m off topic here.

    My site has sent me a spam email 🙁
    Object says: “Your Log In Details – ADMIN BCC COPY”
    Body says: You can log in with the following information:
    Username: olniffer@gmail.com, Password: Hs7joeofjhsU
    You can login here: [link to geodirectory Add Listing Page]
    Thank you,
    [link to my website address]

    what happened? I saw that olniffer@gmail.com is a spammer.
    Is the site compromised? Can it be fixed (and how)?

    Please help me, thank you

    Hi,

    that simply means that someone with that email registered on your website.

    If you don’t want to receive those emails disable BCC option for it in GD >> Notifications.
