name of city is missing in address output

    In Archive List and Detail View, the name of the city of a place is missing.

    Should be like this:

    StreetName StreetNumber, ZIP City = Schürmattstrasse 5, 5643 Sins

    (Without space after streetnumber)

    Hello,

    LMV2 .5 has some changes in it, I Have flagged this for the developers to take a look. I can’t recreate it on my test site, but, there are new options that could account for this.

    After I saved the address field again it’s showing now the City Name.

    But how can I change the output to this:

    StreetName StreetNumber, ZIP City = Limmatquai 1, 8001 Zürich

    Now it’s like this: Limmatquai 1 Zürich , 8001

    Hi Marc,

    We are going to give the option to have the address output differ per country soon, i could give u the hook to do it for all but it will be a setting very soon.

    yes I selected and deselected “show zip and show city” in places settings field “address”.
    After saving the settings now all city names are visible.

    Yes please make the address output differ for each country, this is really important. Or even better that I can choose how to show the address as I want.

    for example: in archive item list view I want to show only the zip code and the city name, NO street name. this should be possible with the address shortcode.
