    Now that NOAA has made their charts available for free, is there a way to incorporate this data as a layer for the display view?

    Hi John Marston,

    Thanks for your post. Implementing this chart into GD isn’t possible and it would require complex customization. Could you tell us a little bit more about your requirements?

    GeoDirectory only deals with ‘point’ data.

    Are you only looking to create overlays?

    If so you can install the Custom Maps addon and view some of the examples provided for Open Street Map layers.

    You might notice that some of the maps are overlays, one for a baselayer with political boundaries and another with labels.

    I would recommend you contact a developer who can create a custom OSM compatible tileset with that data, and then you can add it as a custom provider to show the overlay.

    Those layers are not ‘interactive’ but that would be a solution for getting those boundaries visible when you use GeoDirectory for point data.
