    Hi there,

the near me button is a really important part of my site and I want to make full use of it. Is it possible to change the near me button in some way so that when it’s clicked, it directs the site user to a full view of the home page map? At the moment the near me button is positioned in my header (probably not the best place for it either). As of where the near button is positioned on my site at the moment, users can only see a small bit of the map when clicked so I think it would confuse any potential site users I hope to get – I would like it to scroll down the page automatically so that the map is in full view. I had a look through the forums for similar requests but couldn’t find any , most of the them are older ones about bugs but mine is working with no problems 🙂

I’m using the Whoop child theme. http://www.eluniversodeingles.com
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    that would require a customization.

    Thank you

OK, I think it’s referred to as “smooth scrolling”. I have found some sites that layout the code and tell me how to add the code. Can the code be added in the snippets section or does it need to be added in the theme theme editor part?
    thanks in advance.

It depends on the code, what is it javascript? I doubt that there is anything that will work out of the box just copy and pasting some code though…

Some of them are something called “jscript”, is that the same? But if I can’t do it i’ll ask a developer.

    I think it’d be a good idea…
