Hey guys, do you know why i would suddenly get the error in the attached image?
My browser is set to allow location tracking. I cleared cache in GD Booster. Ran Geodirectory Tools. Tried on multiple devices.
Thanks

May 11, 2016 at 7:01 am #188169I am guessing you are viewing your site in Chrome and you don’t have a SSL certificate installed.
Chrome no longer allows geolocation by non-secured sites for privacy reasons.May 11, 2016 at 8:06 am #188212Hi Silks,
I found an article here that explains the recent changes to Google Chrome Geolocation API https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/04/geolocation-on-secure-contexts-only
I hope it helps

May 19, 2016 at 2:41 am #193961Hey @guust, i also have this error in google chromes console for mixed content regarding the font “Montserrat”. Do you use this in your style sheets? can this be upgraded to https://?
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://poi-australia.com.au/shopping/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ‘http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Thanks
May 19, 2016 at 12:42 pm #194198That seems to be something you added to the header template?
May 19, 2016 at 3:04 pm #194283Hi
I am receiving the attached error when a user clicks on the near me button at firewoodconnect.com. it indicates that permission is denied using my location. I was using Chrome.
I also have a SSL from Comodo.
Any ideas for a fix?
Thanks
VictorMay 19, 2016 at 6:03 pm #194391Hi Victor,
your website is not setup correctly to serve page via SSL.
It seems like the main website URL is still : http://firewoodconnect.com/ not https.
DId you change that in Settings > General?
Both: WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) should have https.
In addition there are URLs in your database still with http. You should use a tool like this to find them and replace them: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
Let us know how you went,
Thanks

I will work on this.
