Near Me Gives 404 Error

    Using the “Near Me” widget in the homepage sidebar and it gives a 404 error.

    It looks like you deleted the location page, the URL of that widget should be /location/me instead of just /location.

    Or you have not selected a location page at GD > Permalinks.

    Thanks Guust,

    The location URL Prefix field is disables – it says
    “Depreciated, now uses the location page slug”

    The other location field does have a URL specified (see screenshot)
    Please advise. I don’t recall deleting any pages at all.

    Should I just create a new blank page called location?

    First run GD > GD Tools > GD pages check > RUN
    If the location page is missing, click “fix”

    Then go to GD > Permalinks > Location page > Make sure the new location page is there.
